What commission should I charge for photographing, writing ad and selling someone else's item on eBay?

10%, 20%, what's fair, what's the going rate?

Answer:
In my opinion about 40% - think about it. If I took my stuff and put it on consignment they would get 50%. It's a team effort. Same here. Your doing all the work, they provide the stuff. Hey those digital cameras take alot of batteries. And dont undervalue your time and your internet hookup and your knowledge of ebay. Those who need you are either too lazy or unknowledgeble to do it themselves. Don't underestimate the value of what you are doing. If they dont use you , they wont get anything. So they will accept it.
