Identity Theft...my next step?

Question:
I check my credit card accounts every day, this morning someone charged $330 for a DVD player and shipped far away.

I've called all the relevent companies. Now I'm thinking of buying a service that contacts me when someone tries to open up an account in my name. Anyone have any experience with these companies?

Answer:
Here is the website that i used for info and advise when someone tried to use my CC to pay for property tax clear across the county. BofA contacted me with a fraud alert when the charge came trough for $4.800.-
