How does a gas station know when to either raise or lower gas prices?

Question:
I know that it has a lot to do with market fluctuation but how does a gas station know when to change the price? And who gives them the order to change it? And why does it change so often?

I just generally want to know the process a gas station takes in order to change their prices.

Answer:
They just know when do it! Plus I think the market might have something to do with it. Plus the super panty just knows those things!
