what should i do? i got an offer for a commercial? |
Question: 2 days ago.. i met somebody at work. he's a photographer and needed someone for a casting to do the commercial. theya re like agency. he was offering me to have a photo shoot and he will pay me for evevrything even if i call of to work. he has been going evevryday to pursue a contract with me. i want to into that which i actually did a lot long time ago when i was 12 i got a lot of offer too in hongkong to be a model of the tea. bra in avon but i didnt coz i dont want to be so much focus to that kind of stuff do i say yes? my bf says no. most of them say no. i maybe busy and get abreak and may forget them they just want me to be simple and humble like the way i used to be. they said i dont have to be in tv and magazine to make them see im pretty and got a nice body. they already know so i dont have to blurt it out. they told me they love me the way i am. a cashier and waitress and has a good heart.. help? Answer: If you want to do that as a living, than that's what you should do. Do professionals payyou want to be a cashier/waitress for ever? Do you have any other career goal? If not, and this is what you secrety want as a career go for it. I work for an advertising agency and a lot of times I try to hire friends, or friends of friends to be in my commercials/print ads, just to cut down on costs. So he is probably legit. We pay amateurs $350 for a half day shoot, but if we get a model through an agency we may have to pay $750. I live on long island and most of the models I have worked with are just regular everyday print ad models, do infomercials and other kinds of stuff. It's their living, they hve a family like veryone else. Just because you model doesn't mean your a famous diva. I hired this 35 year old woman to be in a commercial of mine and she was telling me how she's been doing it for a living since she was a kid and she loves it. Try it out, don't let people talk you out of it. If you truly have a good heart than it could never go bad. |
